Gallery artist Eoin Mac Lochlainn will be in conversation with visual artist and curator Claire Halpin at the Olivier Cornet Gallery
3 Great Denmark Street
Thursday 8th October
6:30 pm
The conversation will revolve around Eoin Mac Lochlainn's current show ‘Diaspora’, its themes, subject matter and the techniques used in this body of work. A great opportunity to hear the artist talk about his practice and to see the exhibition before it finishes on October 11.
This is a free event but booking is recommended
….”These are layered and satisfyingly complex paintings, evocative, textured, subtle, creating a dialogue between figuration and abstraction, a more subdued dialog between frontality and three dimensionality, and managing that difficult tightrope balance of being socially aware without prettifying the subject. This is an artist to watch!”
