In her first solo exhibition at Mario Mauroner Contemporary Art Vienna the young Austrian media artist Ulla RAUTER shows how alluring silence can be. In Silent roomnumberOne the artist’s voice is the source material for “Voice Shapes”. In a looping process she allows the voice to generate its own body, revealing the spoken as an object-like trace in space.
