After the success of last year, the London Art Gallery Day takes place on Friday 25 April between 18:00 and 20:00hrs, and on Saturday 26 April between 12:00 and 20:00hrs.
To sum it all up, it is the major art galleries and art dealers in the postcode areas of EC1 and WC1 in Central London, who have extended their opening hours to welcome the public to events such as performances, talks, book launches and exhibitions. It is arranged collectively by the galleries in the EC1 and WC1 areas which are more and more recognised as some of the best art spaces. The galleries get by with a little help from their friends Re-title, Artlogic, and Westbury Accountants who are sponsoring this important event.
